VAMPS' FIRST EVER LONDON SHOW! HYDE feels positive response towards global expansion

Rock duo VAMPS played the final show of their European tour in London. Although vocalist HYDE had to cancel the show on the previous evening due to his sore throat, he wowed the audience with a powerful show for their first ever London gig.
HYDE promised "I want to go to places no Japanese artist has been before" as he directly felt the positive response.

"Come on London! Let's make love!!"
the 800 sold out audience responded to HYDE's shouts and K.A.Z's guitar riff. The Japanese charismatic duo mesmerised the audience of the UK, known to be the "holy ground" of rock music.

In February the duo signed with Universal Music and this is their first tour since (4 countries, 4 shows, 5000 total audience). Working with Live Nation, who have also produced shows such as Lady Gaga, HYDE commented "I want this to be the foundation of our future expeditions".

On Oct 3rd they played in Berlin despite HYDE having a inflamed throat from catching a cold. The symtoms got worse and inevitably the band had to cancel their show in London on Oct 6th. But that made the duo even more determined.

The venue "O2 Academy Islington" is a venue known to be the first step of the ladder for new UK band such as Franz Ferdinand. US artists include KISS, and Utada Hikaru from Japan. They performed 19 tracks such as "DEVIL SIDE" and "AHEAD", chosen from their new re-recorded English album "SEX BLOOD ROCK N' ROLL".

The excitement was tremendous, with some fans passing out and throwing bras at the stage. HYDE commented "It was a brilliant live". K.A.Z commented "I want to carry on direcly delivering our music to places we've never been".

Next on their plans are two US shows. Another Japanese band famous for their global activities is LOUDNESS who entered the US billboard charts in the 1980s.

HYDE looks to the future "We want to go where no other Japanese artist has gone before. We want to rewrite history."
